1. Data We Collect

When you create an account or subscribe to Digital Humanities, we collect your email address and a user identifier (via Auth0). We store only the data needed to operate the service, such as saved queries or session preferences. Subscription status (plan, expiry) is stored to gate access.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to authenticate you, deliver the study and commentary tools, manage your subscription, and communicate essential service updates. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

Digital Humanities uses the following third-party services: Auth0 (authentication), PayPal (subscription billing — we do not store payment details), Neon / PostgreSQL (database hosting), and Railway (application hosting). No personal data is shared with or sold to any other third parties.

4. Data Retention

Your account data is retained while your account is active. To request complete account and data deletion, contact contact@lobix.ai.

5. User Controls

You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account page. You can request a full data export or deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication uses Auth0 with OAuth 2.0. Database access is restricted to authenticated application services only.

7. Contact

For privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at contact@lobix.ai.
